American Standard Edgemere Toilet Paper Holder - AMS-7018230

Four finishes, each with its own American Standard part number: Chrome is 7018230.002, Matte Black is 7018230.243, Legacy Bronze is 7018230.278, and Brushed Nickel is 7018230.295. If you're matching an existing Edgemere faucet or towel bar in a bathroom group, order the suffix that matches the rest of the trim.

No. The Edgemere holder uses concealed mounting, so no screw heads show once the post covers are set over the brackets. That's the detail that matters in guest-facing baths and hotel rooms where exposed fasteners look unfinished.

Metal construction throughout, which is why it holds up in multi-family and commercial restrooms where a plastic holder gets snapped off the wall. It's a residential-style Edgemere trim piece, not a heavy-duty institutional unit, so for high-abuse public restrooms a surface-mounted commercial dispenser is still the better call.

The Edgemere 7018230 is a pivoting-arm holder: one open arm that swings, rather than two posts with a spring-loaded roller between them. Pivot-arm styles eliminate the roller as a loss item, which is why they get specified in rentals and hospitality. If you need the roll captive so it can't be lifted off, a two-post spindle holder is the type to look for instead.

A mounting template ships with the holder, so you mark the bracket centers off the template rather than measuring both posts independently. Standard practice for a paper holder is to land it on blocking or use appropriate drywall anchors, since the brackets take a side load every time a roll is pulled.

The arm pivots, so a roll comes off and goes back on without removing a spindle or loosening the post. For property managers turning units or housekeeping staff running a floor, that's a one-hand swap.
