It has an integral apron and a three-sided tile/water retention flange, which means it is built to drop into an alcove with walls on three sides, not for a corner or freestanding install.

This one is the right-hand outlet version, meaning the drain and overflow are at the right end as you face the tub from the room. It will not work on a left-hand rough-in without moving the waste line. American Standard builds the Evolution in a left-hand outlet as well, so order that version rather than trying to adapt this one.

No drain is included. Because it is a deep soak model, it needs American Standard's Deep Soak drain and overflow specifically, not a standard bath waste, so add that to the order. The taller overflow is what lets you fill to the deeper water line the tub is built around.
