American Standard Madera 1.1 – 1.6 gpf (4.2 – 6.0 Lpf) Chair Height Back Spud Elongated Bowl - AMS-3249001

It's a flushometer bowl, so there is no tank. The Madera 3249001 takes a back spud flush valve on a 1-1/2 inch inlet spud, and the valve has to deliver in the 1.1 to 1.6 gpf (4.2 to 6.0 Lpf) range to flush it as designed. Budget for the flush valve and a seat separately, since the bowl ships less seat.

Yes. The Madera 3249001 is built for either a 10 inch (254 mm) or 12 inch (305 mm) rough-in, so it drops onto older 10 inch waste locations as well as standard commercial 12 inch.

The rim sits at 16-1/2 inches (419 mm), which American Standard calls Chair Height and specifies for accessible applications. Final seat height depends on the seat you add, since the bowl comes less seat.

Back spud is what you use when the flush valve comes through the wall behind the fixture, which is typical where the piping is concealed in a chase and you want less exposed hardware in a public restroom. Top spud bowls take the valve down through the top of the bowl instead. The Madera 3249001 is back spud with a 1-1/2 inch inlet, so it will not accept a top spud valve; match the bowl to how your supply enters the room.

Yes. The Madera 3249001 is a High Efficiency Toilet bowl that operates anywhere from 1.1 to 1.6 gpf (4.2 to 6.0 Lpf), so a 1.28 gpf flush valve falls inside its working range.

The Madera uses a 2-1/8 inch (54 mm) fully-glazed trapway with direct-fed siphon jet action. The glazing through the trap is the part that matters for maintenance, since waste and paper have less to catch on than in an unglazed passage.

White only, ordered as part number 3249001.02.

There's no tank to sweat, since it's a flushometer bowl, and the bowl itself includes a condensation channel to manage moisture that forms on the china in humid conditions.
