American Standard Murro Wall-Hung EverClean Sink With Center Hole Only - AMS-0955001EC

The Murro 0955001EC is drilled with a center hole only, so it takes a single-hole faucet. A widespread 8 inch or 4 inch centerset won't mount on it. If the spec on your drawing calls for a 4 inch centerset, you need a different drilling, not this one.

ADA and TAS compliant, so it clears both the federal standard and the Texas Accessibility Standards. That covers the fixture itself. The mounting height and the knee clearance under it are set by how you hang it, so the carrier height still has to be set to the accessible rim height on your drawing.

Yes, with a shroud, which is ordered separately. American Standard lists two for the Murro: an acrylic shroud, model 0062000, and a vitreous china shroud, model 0059020EC that matches the sink body. Neither comes with the sink. If the sink sits in an accessible stall, the shroud is also what keeps exposed piping off the user's knees.

The Murro measures 23.937 x 22.375 x 10.75 inches. Lay that against your wall run before you commit, especially in a multi-stall restroom where you are setting two or three on one wall and need clearance between rims.

There is a rear overflow, so it works with a standard grid drain and does not need an open drain the way an overflow-less bowl does. The deck is recessed and self-draining, which keeps standing water from sitting behind the faucet, the usual complaint on a high-traffic commercial lav.

EverClean is an antimicrobial surface fired into the sink that inhibits the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the surface. It is a property of the china surface, not a wipe-on treatment, which is why the EC suffix appears in the model number itself. It does not replace cleaning, it slows the staining and odor that come from what grows on the bowl between cleanings.

This is a commercial fixture. Vitreous china body, concealed arm carrier mounting, and an antimicrobial surface are the combination specified for restrooms in schools, healthcare, and multi-family common areas rather than a private bath. For a landlord standardizing unit bathrooms, it is heavier duty than the situation needs.
