Undermount only. The Orbit 630000 is a round undercounter sink with an unglazed rim, which means the rim is meant to be hidden and sealed under the countertop, not sit exposed on top of it. If you need a self-rimming bowl that drops into the cutout and rests on the deck, this is the wrong style and you want a drop-in or countertop lavatory instead.

Yes, the Orbit has a front overflow, cast into the bowl toward the front of the basin. That matters for two reasons: it means you can use a standard lavatory drain with an overflow port rather than a grid or open drain, and it means orientation is not arbitrary when you set the bowl. Mount it with the overflow facing the front of the vanity, not toward the wall.

The bowl is 4-3/8 inches (111 mm) deep and 12-3/4 inches (324 mm) across, which is a normal handwashing depth for a lavatory, not a utility basin. For restroom vanities in offices, hotels, schools, and apartment bathrooms that is the working size buyers standardize on. If you need to fill buckets or wash equipment, the depth is short and you should be looking at a service or utility sink instead.

Either works, because the sink itself carries no faucet holes. As a round undercounter bowl, the Orbit leaves all faucet drilling to the countertop or the wall behind it, so centerset, widespread, single-hole, and wall-mount trim are all options. The decision is made at the fabricator: set the hole count and spread on the top to match the faucet you have specified, and keep the drilling clear of the 15-1/2 inch outside diameter of the bowl.
