American Standard Piston Assembly for Manual Urinal Flush Valve 1.25 GPF (Blister Pack 100) - AMS-M964905E-007

It's the internal piston that meters the flush on an American Standard manual (handle-operated) urinal flush valve rated at 1.25 GPF. The piston is the wear part: when a valve starts running on, short-cycling, or won't shut off, replacing the piston assembly is the normal repair rather than swapping the whole valve body. Note this is the manual-valve piston, not a sensor/battery diaphragm kit for an electronic flush valve.

The M964905E-007 piston is the 1.25 GPF version, so it should go into a valve already set up for 1.25 gallons per flush. Putting it into a valve of a different rated volume is not a way to convert flush volume, and matching the piston to the valve's rating is what keeps the fixture flushing the way it was specified. If your urinal is a 0.5 or 1.0 GPF fixture, order the piston that matches that rating instead.

It ships as a blister pack of 100 pistons. That's a facility-scale quantity, aimed at an MRO stockroom or a plumbing contractor maintaining a building full of urinals, not a single repair. If you only need one or two, you're buying 100 either way, so plan it as shelf stock for a standardized set of American Standard manual urinal valves.

That's what the 100-count pack is for. If your urinals run American Standard manual flush valves at 1.25 GPF, the M964905E-0070130A piston is the single repair part that covers them, so a maintenance tech carries one item instead of matching parts valve by valve. Where a building mixes flush volumes or has sensor valves in some restrooms, those openings need their own matching pistons or operating kits and this one won't cover them.

There's no finish choice to make. The piston is an internal working part that sits under the valve cap where nothing shows, so it's sold in one unfinished version. The finish decision on a flush valve is the exposed valve body and handle, not this part.
