American Standard Ravenna Semi-Pedestal Leg - AMS-44000

The Ravenna semi-pedestal leg is a P-trap cover. It wraps the trap and supply area without running all the way to the floor, so the drain plumbing is hidden while the floor underneath stays open and easy to mop. That is why it gets specified in restrooms where cleaning around a full floor-mounted pedestal is a nuisance.

Nominal dimensions are 24-1/4 by 20 inches (616 x 508 mm). Lay that out on the wall before you set the carrier or backing, and leave clearance on each side for the faucet ledge and for a user to reach the bowl.

A mounting kit is supplied with it. Wall backing or blocking is still the installer's responsibility, since the fixture hangs off the wall rather than carrying its load to the floor.

No. The integral mounted towel bar is available but has to be ordered separately, so add it to the purchase order if the spec calls for it. Nothing about the fixture changes otherwise.

Yes, a rear overflow. Pair it with a drain assembly that has overflow porting; a grid drain with no overflow holes will block it off.

It is sold in White, ordered as American Standard part 44000.02. There is one finish, so the model number fully identifies the item on a purchase order.

Pick the semi-pedestal when the floor needs to stay clear. It covers the trap but stops short of the floor, which suits high-traffic commercial restrooms and wet-mopped spaces. A full pedestal is the better choice when the wall cannot take the fixture load and you want the column carrying weight to the floor, or when you are matching existing full pedestals in a residential setting.

There is a faucet ledge with a generous shelf area, so soap dispensers and similar accessories sit on the deck instead of needing separate wall mounting. For property managers standardizing restrooms, that usually removes one wall accessory per opening.
