Single hole is the base installation. For a 4-inch centerset or 8-inch widespread deck you add the matching 4-inch or 8-inch deck plate, which is ordered separately. That covers the usual retrofit where you are pulling a two-handle faucet out of a three-hole deck.

0.5 gpm (1.9 Lpm) is a metering-level flow, aimed at handwashing. It is the right flow for a public or staff lavatory and for restroom-style handwash stations in a facility, and it is what many water-conservation specs call for. It is not a pot-fill or a dish-rinse flow. If the sink is used to fill containers or rinse cookware, this is the wrong faucet.

Two different jobs. The solenoid box just opens and closes the water, so temperature is whatever your supply lines deliver, which means you set it at the stops or upstream. The thermostatic mixing valve box blends hot and cold and holds a set outlet temperature, which is what you want on a public handwash station where scald protection or a consistent tempered delivery matters. Institutional and healthcare specs usually push you to the mixing valve; a back-of-house or staff sink on an already-tempered loop does fine on the solenoid.

A safety timer shuts the water off 55 seconds after activation, so a hand towel left on the deck or a jammed sensor will not run the bowl over. Power itself is a choice you make at order time, five options, so a site with unreliable power can be specified accordingly rather than being locked to one supply type.

Auto purge handles it. The Selectronic can be programmed to open at a set interval after the last use and flush the faucet body and the supply line. That matters in a school over a break, a hotel floor out of service, or any low-traffic fixture where water age is a facility concern.

Yes, through an optional remote control. The infrared sensor detects hand motion to run the water, and the programmable settings are reached with the remote rather than by pulling the faucet apart. For a property manager standardizing a run of restrooms, one remote covers the fleet.

The cast faucet measures 17.126 x 10.394 x 4.252 inches and weighs 4.233 pounds. It is a low-profile cast spout, so backsplash and mirror clearance is rarely the constraint; the deeper planning item is under-deck space for the control box and power supply, which mount below and are ordered separately.
