Blanco 212594 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will Blanco 212594 clips work with any Blanco stainless steel undermount sink?
Yes. The 212594 clip set is made for installing Blanco stainless steel undermount kitchen sinks, and it works across the whole Blanco stainless undermount range. If your sink is a Blanco fireclay or composite (Silgranit) model, this is not the mounting hardware for it.
2) What comes in the Blanco 212594 set, or do I need to buy screws separately?
Each of the 6 clips ships with its screw and insert, so the set is complete for fastening the sink rim to the countertop. You still supply the epoxy or adhesive for setting the inserts into a stone counter, which is not included.
3) I lost the mounting clips that came with my Blanco undermount sink - is 212594 the replacement?
Yes, 212594 is the Blanco stainless undermount clip kit and is the part to order for a replacement or a re-set of an existing Blanco stainless undermount bowl. Because it comes as a set of 6 with screws and inserts, it also covers the case where only one or two clips failed.
4) How many undermount clips do I need for one kitchen sink?
One set of 6 covers a typical single or double bowl undermount installation, spaced around the sink rim. Larger bowls or a long apron-length cutout can call for more anchor points, so order a second set if your fabricator specs more than six.
5) Do these clips mount the sink to the countertop or to the cabinet?
They anchor the sink to the underside of the countertop. The insert is set into the counter material, the screw threads into it, and the clip pulls the sink rim up tight against the stone. Cabinet framing plays no part in the hold.
