Blanco 227346 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the Blanco 227346 cutting board fit my Performa 60/40 sink?
The 227346 walnut board is cut specifically for the Blanco Performa 60/40 sink, measuring 13.75 inches by 19.53 inches so it drops onto the sink's integrated ledge rather than resting on the rim. It is not a universal board, so it will not seat correctly on other Blanco bowl configurations or on another brand's sink.
2) Does the Blanco walnut sink board sit down inside the sink or on top of the counter?
Both, and that is the point of it. It seats inside the ledge of the Performa 60/40 bowl so you prep at countertop height and sweep scraps straight into the bowl below, and it also has non-slip protective feet so you can lift it out and use it flat on the counter without it sliding or marking the surface.
3) I manage rental kitchens with Blanco Performa sinks - is this board the same as a sink grid?
No. The 227346 is a walnut prep board that covers part of the bowl opening at ledge height for cutting and draining. A sink grid is a wire or coated bottom grid that sits in the base of the bowl to protect the sink floor from pots and pans. If you are trying to protect the bowl bottom in a rental unit, you want the bottom grid for that Performa model, not this board.
4) What wood is the Blanco 227346 board made from?
Walnut. It is a solid wood prep board, not plastic or composite, so treat it like any hardwood board: hand wash, no dishwasher, and oil it periodically to keep it from drying out.
5) How do I order the Blanco Performa 60/40 walnut cutting board - is there more than one version?
One configuration only: Blanco part number 227346, wood finish. There are no size or finish choices to specify on this accessory.
