No. The 64-121 is an indoor, dry-location product only. Keep it out of exterior runs, covered patios, soffits, and damp areas like shower surrounds or unconditioned garages. Under cabinets, cove ceilings, closets, display cases, and similar conditioned dry spaces are what it is built for.

Both. Dimension Plus is RGB plus tunable white, so the same strip produces saturated color and an adjustable white from warm to cool. Note that it is not a CCT-selectable fixture with a hardware switch; white tuning is done through the controller, either from the included IR remote or over Starfish IoT. Color rendering is 80+ CRI.

The tape is dimmable, but dimming is handled by the included controller/receiver and IR remote, not by a line-voltage wall dimmer on the J-box feed. It is also Starfish IoT capable, so it can be commissioned to an app and voice control. Do not put a standard incandescent or LED wall dimmer upstream of the driver.

The full 16 ft run puts out 1120 lumens at 14W. That is accent and cove level output, roughly 70 lumens per foot, which works well for under-cabinet wash, toe-kick, cove, and display lighting. For a kitchen counter where someone is chopping, treat it as supplemental rather than the primary task source.

The 64-121 carries a cETLus safety listing and is RoHS compliant, which covers US and Canadian installs. The LEDs are integrated, so there is no lamp to change; rated life is 50,000 hours and at end of life the strip is replaced, not relamped. It does carry a California Prop 65 notice for lead.

It is a plug-in tape that adheres and plugs into the kit's driver box, so no separate channel is required for it to function. The base is plastic and the strip is 0.47 inch wide. In millwork, cove, or anywhere the strip is visible or will be cleaned around, an aluminum extrusion with a diffuser lens is still worth adding to hide the diode dots and protect the tape.

Each 64-121 is a self-contained kit with its own driver/junction box, controller, and 16 ft reel, and it terminates in a connector rather than open leads. For a run longer than 16 ft, order a second complete kit and feed it from its own J-box rather than trying to extend one driver past its rated load.
