TOTO TOTO-DANTESCA-CO-NO – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Does the TOTO Dantesca undermount sink have faucet holes, or do I need a deck-mount faucet on the counter?
No faucet holes. The Dantesca is drilled with no faucet hole spacing, so the faucet mounts through the countertop or on the wall. Plan your deck drilling with the fabricator before the top is cut.
2) Will the TOTO Dantesca sink work in an ADA-compliant restroom or accessible residential bath?
Yes, the Dantesca is ADA compliant. At 7.5 inches overall height it sits shallow enough under a vanity top to help preserve knee clearance, but the accessible clearances depend on how the counter is set and how the trap is routed, so the installing plumber still has to verify the finished rough-in.
3) Does the TOTO Dantesca have an overflow, and where does it drain?
It has a concealed overflow at the front of the basin. That matters for drain selection: pair it with an overflow-type lavatory drain (a grid drain with no overflow port will leave the channel dead). The overflow is not visible from above thanks to the rimless bowl.
4) What does the CEFIONTECT option on the TOTO Dantesca actually change?
CEFIONTECT is TOTO's glazing option, and it is ordered as a separate choice on this sink. The part number tells you which you are getting: LT597G#01 in Cotton White carries the G for CEFIONTECT, while LT597#51 in Ebony does not. Every one of the five colors is offered both with and without it, so specify the option explicitly if you are matching sinks already in the building.
5) What colors does the TOTO Dantesca oval undermount sink come in?
Five: Cotton White, Bone, Colonial White, Sedona Beige, and Ebony. With CEFIONTECT glazing the numbers run LT597G#01 Cotton White, LT597G#03 Bone, LT597G#11 Colonial White, and LT597G#12 Sedona Beige; the non-glazed Ebony is LT597#51. If you are standardizing a multi-unit property, order by that full suffix so the color matches across floors.
6) Can the TOTO Dantesca be installed as a drop-in or vessel sink?
No. It is an undercounter fixture with a rimless design, meaning there is no finished rim to sit on top of a counter and nothing to seal a drop-in installation against. For a top-mount or vessel opening you need a sink built for that mounting type.
7) How heavy is the TOTO Dantesca sink, and does the vanity need extra support?
The sink weighs 19.5 pounds dry. Undermount china of that weight plus a full basin of water is normally carried on clips and a mounting rail tied back to the cabinet or a support frame, not on the adhesive alone, so build the substrate accordingly on a stone or solid-surface top.
