TOTO LT624G#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size countertop cutout do I need for the TOTO Legato undermount sink?
Cut the counter opening at 15 by 17 inches. The Legato's cutout depth is 7-7/8 inches, so make sure the cabinet has that much clearance below the underside of the slab before the sink body bottoms out. Overall the sink measures 17 by 19 inches with a 7-7/8 inch height, so the rim flange sits roughly an inch outside the opening on each dimension for the fabricator to clamp to.
2) Does the Legato undermount sink have faucet holes drilled in it?
No. The Legato has no faucet hole spacing, so the faucet mounts through the countertop or the wall, not the sink. Drill the deck for whatever you are using, single hole, 4 inch centerset, or 8 inch widespread, or plan wall-mount rough-in behind it.
3) Is the TOTO Legato sink ADA compliant for a commercial restroom?
Yes, the Legato rectangular undermount is ADA compliant. Because it is an undercounter sink, the compliance outcome still depends on how you set the counter: rim height and knee clearance are set by the vanity, and the 7-7/8 inch sink depth is what you subtract from the counter height when checking knee space. Wrap the exposed trap and supplies as usual.
4) What is CEFIONTECT on the TOTO Legato and should I order it?
CEFIONTECT is TOTO's glaze option, and the Legato is sold both with and without it. Every finish is offered either way: Cotton White, Bone, Colonial White, Sedona Beige and Ebony. Glazed examples order as LT624G plus the color code, such as LT624G#01 in Cotton White; ungalzed runs as LT624, for instance LT624#51 in Ebony. For high-traffic restrooms where cleaning labor matters, the glazed version is the one facilities usually standardize on.
5) Can the Legato be dropped into a countertop as a top-mount sink?
No. The Legato LT624 is an undercounter sink only, mounted from below a finished stone or solid-surface top. If the existing counter is laminate with a cut edge and no sealed substrate, you want a drop-in or vessel lavatory instead, not this one.
6) How much does the TOTO Legato sink weigh, and can one person set it?
24.5 pounds. That is a one-person lift but a two-person set when you are holding it up against the underside of a slab, and the countertop needs mounting clips or an epoxy set rated to carry that weight plus water. Budget support brackets on thin-material tops.
7) What colors does the TOTO Legato rectangular sink come in?
Five: Cotton White (#01), Bone (#03), Colonial White (#11), Sedona Beige (#12) and Ebony (#51). Cotton White and Colonial White are distinct shades, so if you are matching existing TOTO fixtures across a property, match the color code, not the word white.
