The sophisticated design and geometric form of the TOTO GR 1.2 GPM Single Handle Bathroom Sink Faucet is one that boasts a splendid presence. Incorporating sharp edges along with curves and slopes, creates an overall impression of regal elegance. The faucet features TOTO's innovative Comfort Glide™ Technology. This technology utilizes Diamond-Like Carbon coated ceramic cartridges for ultimate durability and protection against friction, allowing the user to control water flow in comfort with long-lasting ease of use. The GR faucet uses low-conductivity materials for parts that comes into contact with the handle. This safe design inhibits the heat flow, keeping the handle from getting too warm. The WaterSense® certified, high-efficiency 1.2 GPM water flow saves water without diminishing the performance of the faucet. The faucet is ADA, CEC, and CALGreen compliant. Included items: Spout and handle, metal pop-up drain and rod, and water supply hoses.

TOTO TLG02301U#CP – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the TOTO GR bathroom faucet fit a sink with three holes, or does it need a single-hole deck?
The GR faucet is a single-hole deck-mount faucet. On a 4-inch centerset or 8-inch widespread deck with three holes, you need TOTO's separately sold cover plate to close off the outer two. The plate is not in the box, so add it to the order when the lavatory is drilled for three holes.
2) What is the difference between the TOTO GR faucet's TLG02301U, TLG02304U, and TLG02307U models?
Spout height is the difference, and it is driven by the basin. TLG02301U stands 3-1/16 inches at the spout with a 4-5/8 inch reach for a standard drop-in or undermount lav. TLG02304U is the semi-vessel height at 6 inches spout height, 5-3/8 inch reach. TLG02307U is the full vessel height at 7 inches spout, 6-3/16 inch reach, for a bowl sitting on top of the counter. Pick the one that clears your basin rim.
3) Does the TOTO GR faucet come with a drain, or do I need to order a pop-up separately?
A metal pop-up drain and lift rod are in the box, along with the spout, handle, and water supply hoses. You do not need to order a separate drain assembly for a standard lavatory. What you do need to supply are the angle stops and the P-trap.
4) Is the TOTO GR lavatory faucet ADA compliant for a commercial restroom?
Yes, and the lever handle is why. It is a single lever that operates without grasping, pinching, or twisting the wrist, and TOTO lists the faucet as ADA compliant. For a public restroom in an office, school, or hotel, that is the box you need checked at inspection.
5) Does the TOTO GR faucet meet California CALGreen and CEC water efficiency requirements?
It does. Flow is 1.2 GPM, and the faucet carries WaterSense certification along with CEC and CALGreen compliance. For a California multi-family or commercial job where the lavatory flow ceiling is the gating item, this one clears it as-is with no separate aerator swap.
6) I need to standardize lavatory faucets across a whole property. What finishes does the TOTO GR come in?
Two finishes, Polished Chrome and Brushed Nickel, and both are offered in all three spout heights. So a property with standard lavs in the units, semi-vessel bowls in the lobby restroom, and vessel bowls in a suite can run one finish across every one of them. The spouts and handles are solid brass with a durable finish, not painted plastic.
7) What keeps the handle on the TOTO GR faucet from getting stiff or sloppy after a few years of heavy use?
COMFORT GLIDE ceramic cartridges with a Diamond-Like Carbon coating. The coating cuts friction inside the cartridge, which is what causes a handle to stick or go loose over time in high-cycle settings. TOTO also uses low-conductivity materials at the parts touching the handle, so the lever itself does not heat up when hot water is running. For a restroom cycling hundreds of times a day, cartridge wear is the failure you are buying against.
8) Does the TOTO GR faucet need batteries or power run to the sink?
No power at all. The GR is a manual single-lever faucet with no battery and no transformer, so there is nothing to run in the cabinet and no batteries to change on a maintenance schedule. If you want touchless for a high-traffic public restroom, that is a different product line entirely.
9) Will a 1.2 GPM faucet be too slow to fill a bathroom sink in a hotel or apartment?
For handwashing at a lavatory, 1.2 GPM is the current efficiency standard and it is what WaterSense certification requires. The GR is built for that flow rather than throttled down to it with a restrictor. Where 1.2 GPM is genuinely a problem is a mop or utility basin you are filling by volume, and a lavatory faucet is the wrong fixture for that job regardless of flow rate.
