The sophisticated design and geometric form of the TOTO GR 1.2 GPM Single Side Handle Vessel Bathroom Sink Faucet is one that boasts a splendid presence. Incorporating sharp edges along with curves and slopes, creates an overall impression of regal elegance. The faucet features TOTO's innovative Comfort Glide™ Technology. This technology utilizes Diamond-Like Carbon coated ceramic cartridges for ultimate durability and protection against friction, allowing the user to control water flow in comfort with long-lasting ease of use. The GR faucet uses low-conductivity materials for parts that comes into contact with the handle. This safe design inhibits the heat flow, keeping the handle from getting too warm. The WaterSense® certified, high-efficiency 1.2 GPM water flow saves water without diminishing the performance of the faucet. The faucet is ADA, CEC, and CALGreen compliant. Included items: Spout and handle, metal pop-up drain and rod, water supply hoses.

Features

  • HANDLE DOESN'T STICK OR BECOME LOOSE OVER TIME - COMFORT GLIDE ceramic discs feature a Diamond-Like Carbon coating, protecting against friction and ensuring long-lasting operability. A lifetime of smooth handle control at your fingertips.

  • SIMPLE INSTALLATION - Installation is a breeze with the included water supply hoses. The faucet can be installed into a single-hole deck or a 3 hole configuration with the purchase of a separately sold cover plate.
  • WATER SAVINGS WITHOUT SACRIFICING PERFORMANCE - The WaterSense certified and CEC compliant faucet uses 1.2 gallons of water per minute, offering water savings with no compromise to your shower experience. The Faucet is ADA compliant.

TOTO TLG02309U#CP – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the TOTO GR single-handle faucet fit a 3-hole sink deck, or do I need a single-hole basin?
The GR TLG02309U is a single-hole, deck-mount faucet, so it needs one hole as standard. It can go into a 3-hole deck if you add a cover plate (escutcheon), which is sold separately and not packed with the faucet.
2) What supply connections does the TOTO GR faucet use, and are the hoses included?
Supply hoses come in the box and terminate in 3/8 compression, which mates directly with standard 3/8 compression angle stops. No adapters needed on typical US rough-in.
3) Does the TOTO GR faucet come with a drain, or do I have to order one separately?
A metal pop-up drain and lift rod are included, so the faucet arrives as a complete trim set. Plan on supplying only the P-trap and tailpiece.
4) Is the TOTO GR faucet ADA compliant for a commercial or public restroom?
Yes. It is ADA compliant and uses a lever handle, which is the operable-part type that satisfies the no-tight-grasping requirement. It is also WaterSense certified, CEC compliant, and CALGreen compliant at 1.2 GPM, which covers California spec jobs and most green building submittals.
5) Is 1.2 GPM enough flow for a hotel or multi-family bathroom sink?
1.2 GPM is the high-efficiency lavatory rate and is what WaterSense certification requires, so it is standard on hospitality and multi-family specs rather than a compromise. If your jurisdiction mandates 0.5 GPM for public lavatories, this faucet is above that figure and would need a lower-rate aerator from the factory parts list.
6) What finishes does the TOTO GR bathroom faucet come in, and what are the part numbers?
Two finishes: Brushed Nickel as TLG02309U#BN and Polished Chrome as TLG02309U#CP. Both are the same single-handle faucet with drain; only the finish code changes, which makes it straightforward to standardize across a building and order replacements later.
7) Is the TOTO GR faucet metal or plastic, and how does the cartridge hold up in high-traffic restrooms?
Spout and handle are solid brass with a durable finish, no painted plastic. The cartridge uses Diamond-Like Carbon coated ceramic discs (TOTO's COMFORT GLIDE), which is aimed at the usual failure mode in heavy-use restrooms: handles that get stiff or go loose. Parts touching the handle are low-conductivity material so the handle stays cooler on hot water.
8) Does this TOTO faucet need batteries or power?
No power at all. It is a manual single-handle faucet with a lever, contains no battery, and ships without one, so there is no solenoid or transformer to rough in.
9) Where can I get the rough-in dimensions and parts breakdown for TOTO TLG02309U before I set the vanity?
TOTO publishes a spec sheet and a manual/parts sheet for the TLG02309U, plus an installation sheet for the GR series single-hole faucet. Those give the dimensioned rough-in and the replaceable part numbers for the cartridge and aerator, which is what you want on file for a property you will be maintaining.
