1) Does the TOTO Helix ECOPOWER sensor faucet need power or wiring at the sink?
No wiring and no external power. The Helix ECOPOWER spout generates its own power from the water passing through it and stores it in a lithium ion battery that comes with the faucet. TEL113-D20EM#CP adds a manual mixing valve for conventional warm-water adjustment. TEL113-D20ET#CP adds a thermostatic mixing valve, which holds a fixed outlet temperature and guards against scalding. For schools, healthcare and senior housing the thermostatic version is usually the one the spec calls for.
3) What supply connection does the TOTO Helix ECOPOWER faucet use, and are supply lines included?
The connection is G 1/2, and the supply lines are not in the box. Order flexible connectors or risers to suit G 1/2 on the faucet side and whatever stop is on the wall. Plan that into the job material list, because a G 1/2 parallel thread is not the same as a US 1/2 inch NPT tapered thread and the wrong hose will not seal.
4) Is the TOTO Helix ECOPOWER faucet ADA compliant and does it meet California water rules?
ADA compliant, and compliant with both CEC and CALGreen. Component parts are called out as spout TELS113#CP, controller TELC103R-D20E and valve TLM10. A drain is not included, and neither is the supply line for the G 1/2 connection. So for a complete lav set add a drain assembly and supplies to your order.
6) How far does the TOTO Helix spout reach and how high is it over the deck?
Reach is 4.88 inches from the body and spout height is 3.75 inches. That short arching neck is sized for a standard commercial lavatory bowl. On a vessel sink or a deep undermount with a wide bowl, check the 4.88 inch reach against where the drain sits, because a low, short spout can put the stream on the back of the bowl instead of over the drain.
