TOTO THU9853 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is TOTO part THU9853?
THU9853 is the TOTO base plate assembly for a washlet remote control hanger, the wall-mounted cradle the handheld remote sits in. It is a replacement accessory part, not a remote control and not a bidet seat.
2) Does the TOTO THU9853 base plate come with the remote control?
No. THU9853 is the hanger base plate assembly only. If the remote itself is lost or damaged, you need the remote for your specific washlet model, ordered separately.
3) I manage a hotel and a guest snapped the washlet remote holder off the wall. Is THU9853 the piece I order?
If the broken piece is the wall bracket the remote clips into, yes, THU9853 is that replacement hanger base plate assembly from TOTO. Order by the part number stamped in your washlet's parts list, since TOTO uses model-specific hangers across its washlet lines.
4) Is the THU9853 hanger offered in more than one version or finish?
There is a single orderable version of the TOTO THU9853 base plate assembly. One part number, one configuration, nothing to specify on the order.
