TOTO THU9728 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the TOTO THU9728 remote hanger a replacement part or a complete remote?
It is the hanger only. THU9728 is the anti-theft remote control holder, not the remote itself and not a seat or bidet unit, so order it when the cradle is missing, broken, or you are adding a secured mount in a public restroom.
2) What is the TOTO THU9728 part?
THU9728 is a TOTO remote control hanger, the anti-theft wall holder that the remote for a TOTO washlet-style seat sits in. It holds the handheld remote in a fixed spot in the washroom rather than leaving it loose on a counter.
3) Why would a property manager choose the anti-theft TOTO remote hanger for a public restroom?
The anti-theft design is the point: in hotels, offices, and other shared washrooms the handheld remote walks off. THU9728 keeps the remote captive at the wall position where guests expect to find it, which cuts replacement remote orders across a building.
4) Is there more than one version of the TOTO THU9728 hanger to choose from?
No options to pick. The hanger is sold as a single configuration under part number THU9728, so there is no finish or size selection to make when ordering.
