TOTO THU726 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the TOTO THU726 spare part?
THU726 is TOTO's top mount seat kit, a replacement hardware kit used to mount a toilet seat from above the bowl rather than from underneath. It ships as a kit rather than a loose bolt, so it is what you order when the original seat mounting hardware has corroded or stripped.
2) Is THU726 a replacement seat, or just the mounting hardware?
Hardware only. THU726 is a top mount seat kit, meaning the mounting components. If the seat itself is cracked or discolored, ordering THU726 will not solve that; you need the seat, and this kit is what secures it.
3) Do I need to reach behind the bowl to install the TOTO THU726 seat kit?
No. Top mount hardware installs and tightens from above the bowl, so you are not lying on the floor working blind behind a close-coupled tank. For a property manager turning multiple units, that is the practical difference between a five minute swap and a service call.
4) How do I order the TOTO top mount seat hardware kit so I get the right one?
Order by the TOTO part number THU726. It is sold as a single configuration, so there are no finish or size options to specify, and quoting the part number is enough for a counter or a purchase order.
How fast can I get the TOTO THU726 delivered?
