TOTO THU6252#01 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the TOTO THU6252#01 deodorizer louver assembly and where does it go?
It's the louver assembly for the deodorizer on a TOTO washlet toilet seat. The deodorizer draws air through this louver and past the filter element, so the louver assembly is the vented cover portion of that system rather than the seat or the electronics.
2) Is the TOTO THU6252#01 the replacement filter itself or the housing?
This is the louver assembly, the vented housing part of the deodorizer. If what you actually need is the replaceable carbon filter cartridge that sits behind it, that's a separate TOTO part number, so confirm which piece failed before ordering.
3) What does the #01 mean on TOTO part THU6252#01?
On TOTO parts the number after the hash is the finish code, and #01 is TOTO's Cotton White. Order it by the full designation THU6252#01 so you get the white louver rather than another color code.
4) I manage a building with TOTO washlet seats and the deodorizer smells stale. Is replacing the louver assembly the fix?
A stale odor usually points at a spent carbon element rather than the louver. The louver assembly (THU6252#01) is what you replace when the vented cover is cracked, broken, discolored, or missing after a seat service. Swap the filter element first if the housing is intact.
5) Will this TOTO deodorizer louver come in a color other than white?
THU6252#01 is supplied in the Cotton White finish only. Other TOTO color codes on a washlet seat would carry a different suffix after the hash.
