TOTO THU6788 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is THU6788 the correct part number to order for a TOTO top back maintenance cover in Cotton?
Yes. Order by TOTO part number THU6788. It is sold as a single cover plate, so order one per access opening you are covering.
2) I need a replacement drain plug for a TOTO sink. Is THU6788 what I want?
No. Despite how it is sometimes catalogued, THU6788 functions as a top back maintenance cover plate, not a working drain stopper or pop-up assembly. If the part you are replacing lifts, seals, or holds water, this is the wrong item.
3) What is the TOTO THU6788 part, and what does it actually do?
THU6788 is a TOTO cover plate, specifically a top back maintenance cover in a Cotton (white) finish. It conceals the maintenance access opening on the fixture, so it is a trim/cover piece rather than a working valve or drain component.
4) Does the TOTO THU6788 cover come in any finish other than Cotton?
Cotton is the only finish offered for THU6788. If your fixture is a different TOTO color, you need the matching part number for that color rather than this one.
