TOTO THP4305#CP – Frequently Asked Questions
1) I need a replacement aerator for a TOTO lavatory faucet - how do I know THP4305#CP is the right one?
Match it to the faucet model, not just the look. THP4305#CP is the TOTO-specified aerator kit for the faucet series it is listed against, and aerator threads on lavatory faucets vary by male and female thread and by diameter, so an aerator from another line can look identical and not thread in. Pull the old aerator, confirm your faucet model number off the spec sheet or the underside of the deck, and order the kit TOTO calls out for it.
2) Will the TOTO 1.5 gpm aerator kit reduce flow on an older faucet?
Yes, if what is in the faucet now flows higher. The THP4305#CP is a 1.5 gpm aerator, so swapping it into a faucet running a 2.2 gpm aerator drops the outlet flow to 1.5 gpm. That is the usual reason a property manager or MRO buyer orders these in quantity: it is the cheapest way to cut water use at a lavatory without touching the valve or the fixture.
3) Does the TOTO THP4305#CP aerator come with the spout or is it just the aerator?
Aerator only. THP4305#CP is supplied as an aerator kit, so it covers the aerator assembly that threads into the end of the spout. If the spout tube, cartridge, or valve body is the problem, this part will not fix it.
4) What finish is TOTO THP4305#CP?
The #CP suffix on the TOTO part number is polished chrome, which is how TOTO codes finish at the end of its model numbers. THP4305#CP is the only configuration of this aerator kit offered, so if your faucet is a brushed or matte finish, the visible aerator ring will not match.
