TOTO THP4607#CP – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What exactly is TOTO part THP4607#CP?
THP4607#CP is a TOTO thermostatic faceplate (cover plate) for the Legato faucet line. It is the trim plate that covers the valve body at the wall, not a valve or cartridge, so it is ordered as a replacement or finish piece for an existing Legato thermostatic installation.
2) Does the TOTO THP4607#CP include the thermostatic valve or cartridge?
No. THP4607#CP is the faceplate only, a cover plate for a faucet application. If your thermostatic valve or cartridge is the failed part, this will not fix it, you would order the valve or cartridge separately.
3) What finish is TOTO THP4607#CP?
The #CP suffix on TOTO part numbers is polished chrome, so THP4607#CP is the chrome version of the Legato thermostatic faceplate. If the other trim on the opening is brushed nickel or matte black, you want the matching suffix instead of this one.
4) I manage a hotel with TOTO Legato showers, can I use THP4607#CP to replace a scratched trim plate?
That is the normal use for it. THP4607#CP is a direct TOTO service part for Legato thermostatic trim, so a damaged or corroded faceplate can be swapped without touching the rough-in valve. Order the chrome #CP version only where the rest of the trim on that fixture is chrome.
5) Will the TOTO THP4607 faceplate fit a non-Legato TOTO faucet?
Treat it as Legato-specific. TOTO identifies THP4607#CP as the Legato thermostatic faceplate, and TOTO trim plates are cut to each series' valve footprint, so match the part to the Legato series rather than assuming it crosses to another TOTO line.
