No. THP5103 is pressure balance trim, and pressure balance and thermostatic valves use different stems and cartridge geometry, so the handle will not engage a thermostatic body. For a thermostatic valve you need the trim kit TOTO lists for that valve series.
4) What does the #CP suffix mean on TOTO THP5103#CP?
On TOTO part numbers the suffix after the hash is the finish code, and CP is polished chrome. So THP5103#CP is the square pressure balance trim in polished chrome. If the other fittings in the bath are brushed nickel or brass, order the matching TOTO finish code instead so the escutcheon does not read as the odd one out.
