TOTO THP4723#CP – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Which TOTO faucet does the THP4723 laminar nozzle fit?
It is the replacement laminar flow nozzle specified for the TOTO TB100DF. Order it by the TOTO model on the fixture, not by appearance, since nozzle threads and inserts differ across TOTO faucet families.
2) What is TOTO part THP4723#CP?
THP4723#CP is a TOTO laminar flow nozzle, the spray outlet piece for the TB100DF. It is a faucet component, so it handles the water outlet rather than any valve or mixing function. Laminar flow means the stream comes out as a clear, non-aerated column of water.
3) Is the TOTO THP4723 nozzle polished chrome, and does it come in other finishes?
Chrome only. The #CP suffix on a TOTO part number is their polished chrome finish code, and THP4723#CP is the single configuration of this nozzle. If the faucet on the wall is brushed nickel or another finish, this chrome nozzle will not match it.
4) Will a laminar nozzle like the TOTO THP4723 reduce splashing in a commercial restroom sink?
A laminar outlet delivers a solid, non-aerated stream, which is the outlet type healthcare and institutional facilities commonly specify because the stream does not mix with room air. In a shallow lavatory basin a laminar stream can splash more than an aerated one, so bowl depth matters when standardizing restrooms on this outlet style.
5) Do I need any tools or extra parts to replace the nozzle on a TOTO TB100DF?
The THP4723#CP is supplied as the nozzle assembly for the TB100DF and nothing else. Any gasket, seal, cartridge, or supply line for that faucet is a separate TOTO part number, so pull the faucet's parts breakdown before scheduling the repair if you suspect the leak is upstream of the outlet.
