THU492#CP is a complete trip lever handle assembly for a TOTO toilet tank, meaning the handle and its mounting shaft come together as one replacement part rather than a bare lever. It is the piece you turn to flush, not the flapper, fill valve, or flush valve. If your tank leaks or runs, the trip lever is not the fix; if the handle is cracked, loose, corroded, or the finish has worn, this is the right part.

TOTO trip levers are model specific, and the fit is set by the mounting hole location on the tank (left side, right side, or front) plus the arm length and bend. THU492 is a right hand assembly.
