TOTO THU460-A – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the TOTO THU460-A trip lever and what comes with it?
The THU460-A is a TOTO toilet tank flush lever in a polished brass finish, sold as a replacement part. It comes as a flush tower fix float-top HF assembly with 16 chain links, so the lever and its connecting chain arrive together rather than being sourced separately.
2) Can I replace just the flush handle on a TOTO toilet without changing the whole flush valve?
Yes, that is what the THU460-A covers. It is a trip lever assembly with its chain, one of TOTO's tank replacement parts, so a handle that has snapped, corroded, or lost its chain gets fixed without pulling the tank or swapping the flush valve body. The chain ships at 16 links and gets shortened to suit the tank depth on install.
3) Is the TOTO THU460-A trip lever available in any finish other than polished brass?
Polished brass only. The THU460-A is a single-model part with no finish options behind it, so if the other trim in the bath is chrome or brushed nickel, this is not the lever that will match it.
