1) Will the ABH A548 edge guard fit my door without mortising the edge?
No door prep needed. The A548S and A548B are non-mortised, three-sided edge guards that wrap the door edge and fasten on the surface with the supplied #6 x 5/8 inch Phillips flat head undercut sheet metal screws.
