Adams Rite 31-0355 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) My 3090 eForce keypad stopped responding. Do I need a whole new lock or just the battery pack?
If the trim has gone dead or is losing power, the 31-0355 battery pack assembly is the serviceable part. It is sold as a replacement power module for the 3090 eForce, so you can restore the opening without pulling the entire keyless entry unit off the door. Replacement is plug-and-play at the connector.
2) Do I need a locksmith to change the battery pack on an Adams Rite 3090 eForce?
No. The 31-0355 is a plug-and-play assembly, so swapping it is a maintenance task rather than a lock rebuild. Maintenance staff who can open the trim can change it; no re-keying and no door prep are involved.
3) Is the 31-0355 a genuine Adams Rite part or an aftermarket battery?
Genuine Adams Rite, part number 31-0355, supplied as the factory battery pack assembly for the 3090 eForce. That matters on electronic trim, where a substitute pack with the wrong connector or output can leave the opening unsecured.
4) Is the Adams Rite 31-0355 battery pack rated for commercial door use?
Commercial. Adams Rite lists the 31-0355 as a commercial-duty part, and it is used on access-controlled openings in offices, schools, and healthcare facilities. Property managers standardizing on 3090 eForce trim across a building can stock this one part number for every one of those doors.
