The Adams Rite 4089 Exit Indicator provides unmistakable notification of lock status for various Adams Rite deadlocks, allowing the use of security deadlocks instead of exit devices in certain occupancies under many local building safety codes. This indicator displays "LOCKED" in red letters or "OPEN" in green letters on a white background when the bolt is thrown or retracted respectively. Standard unit fits 1-3/4" doors with options available for thicker doors up to 2-1/2". The zinc alloy escutcheon is available in multiple powder coat finishes to match anodized door hardware.
