Adams Rite Monitoring Switch Kit (M1 / M2)

The Adams Rite Monitoring Switch Kit is designed for installation beneath the pushbar on the hinge end of 3000 and 8000 Series exit devices. It enhances the functionality of the exit device by enabling electrical monitoring, making it possible to activate signal lights, buzzers, alarms, or other connected systems upon operation of the device.

This field-retrofittable accessory is available in two models:

• M1 – Single Monitoring Switch (91-0897-01): Operates one monitored circuit, configurable as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC).

• M2 – Dual Monitoring Switches (91-0897-02): Provides redundant switching per certain building codes or allows triggering two independent signaling systems simultaneously.

Ideal for facilities requiring compliance with building codes, system supervision, or enhanced security monitoring, this kit adds an intelligent layer to mechanical egress hardware without requiring a full replacement.
