The IPW-VPN is a hardware device that allowssecure communications to be established over any standard, public, or private network. The IPW-VPN performs behind firewalls and NAT devices and offers encrypted communication for all IP protocols regardless of the type of traffic. When deployed, the IPW-VPN provides a secure and encrypted tunnel for network communications. This proves beneficial when needing to remotely program or maintain the IX or GT Series. For best results with the Aiphone IX Series, it is recommended that the IX product be programmed to use multicast.
