The IPW-1VC is an analog-to-IP converter set that utilizes 2-conductor copper wire to connect a network intercom station. The set includes an ethernet-to-UTP (untwisted pair) transmitter and receiver along with two RJ45-to-2- wire converters and a power supply for the receiver. The set will work on 22 ~ 18AWG shielded or unshielded wire. The quantity of master stations that can be called will be dependent on the wire distance and type of station being used (audio or video). The PoE pass‑through feature on select IX Series stations is not supported and will not function when using the IPW-1VC.
