3) Can I use an Aiphone NHR-7A pull cord in a restroom without putting a bedside station in there?
That is exactly what the NHR-3TS is for. It lets the NHR-7A pull cord be used without a bedside sub station behind it, so you can put a call point in a restroom or common area where there is no bed and no reason for a bedside unit.
4) Does wiring the NHR-3TS differ from wiring a bedside sub station on the same nurse call system?
No difference. The NHR-3TS wires the same as a bedside sub station, so an installer running the NHX system does not need a separate wiring scheme for common area points. Same cable, same termination approach.

The station carries two corridor lights that indicate the call location, so staff walking the hall can see where the call originated rather than relying only on the master annunciator.
