1) Does keyed alike mean every American Lock A12KA I order opens with the same key?
That's the point of the KA suffix. The A12KA ships keyed alike, so one key runs every lock in the order. There is a Key Code field on the order, so if you already run an American Lock A12 key code in your building you can call it out and stay on the same key instead of starting a second set. If you want each lock on its own key, the keyed different version is the A12 (A12KD), and master keyed versions exist as A12MK and A12KAMK.
2) Will the A12KA padlock fit through my hasp or gate chain link?
