Metallics ASP1M – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Metallics ASP1M and what is it used for?
The ASP1M is a Toggler SnapSkru regular self-drilling drywall toggle anchor from Metallics, sold under part number ASP1M. It is a hollow-wall fastening anchor used for mounting boxes, straps, brackets and similar light fixtures to drywall where there is no stud behind the surface.
2) How many anchors come in a box of Metallics ASP1M?
One unit of ASP1M is a bulk carton of 1,000 anchors. It is a contractor or MRO quantity, not a retail blister pack, so order it where you are anchoring across a whole building or stocking a van rather than for a single device.
3) Is the Metallics ASP1M the regular SnapSkru or the deep-hole version?
ASP1M is the regular SnapSkru anchor, not the deep-thread or extended variant. If a spec or submittal calls out the regular SnapSkru, ASP1M is the matching Metallics part number to quote.
