Metallics ASP1K – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the Snapskru ASP1K hold in a solid wall like concrete or brick?
No. Snapskru anchors are hollow-wall anchors, meant for drywall and similar board where there is a cavity behind. For concrete, block or brick you need a masonry anchor such as a sleeve or wedge anchor instead.
2) Is the Metallics ASP1K kit sold as a complete tray, or do I order anchors loose?
It ships as a kit in a tray under one part number, ASP1K. You buy the kit, not individual anchors, so there is no separate anchor or screw line to add.
3) What does the "Reg" in the Metallics ASP1K Snapskru kit mean?
"Reg" is the regular anchor size in the Snapskru range, as opposed to the longer or heavier variants in the same family. If your wall board is standard thickness, the regular kit is the one specified; unusually thick board or double-layer board calls for a longer anchor.
