Hex washer head, so you drive it with a 5/16 inch nut setter or socket in an impact driver, not a screwdriver bit. Keep a spare setter on the truck if you are working through a jar of 1000.

That is the job these are made for. The CSH10FM is an electrical-trade fastener for anchoring straps, clamps, strut and box brackets to concrete, block and brick. The 1-1/4 inch length suits thin fixtures such as one-hole straps and device boxes; for thicker standoffs or strut channel, step up to a longer screw so you keep about 1 inch of embedment.
3) Does the CSH10FM need a plastic or lead shield to be set first?
No shield, no expansion sleeve. It is a screw anchor that cuts its own threads directly into the drilled hole in concrete or masonry, so it is one drill and one drive per fastener. It can also be backed out and removed, unlike a drop-in or sleeve anchor.
