2) Is the Metallics LCS5860SS stainless, and can I use it outdoors or in a wet area?
Yes, the LCS5860SS is a stainless steel anchor, which is what you want for exterior pads, rooftop equipment curbs, parking structures, and wash-down or coastal areas where a plain carbon steel anchor would rust and stain the concrete. Pair it with stainless washers and clips so you are not mixing metals at the connection.
3) How much of the 6 inch length is actually embedded in the concrete?
The 6 inches is the overall screw length, so your embedment is 6 inches minus the thickness of whatever you are fastening plus the hex head. Add up your base plate, shim stack, and any washers first, then confirm the remaining embedment meets the load you need.
