The Appleton PXSS2K Series Flameproof Compound Barrier Cable Connector is a Class I cable connector engineered for unarmored, extra hard usage, tray (TC), and shipboard cables. Constructed of nickel-plated brass, it delivers an environmental seal on the cable jacket along with an explosionproof compound barrier seal around the cable inner cores. The connector is UL Listed for NPT or Metric entry threads and rated for continuous operation from -60 °C to +85 °C (-76 °F to +185 °F), making it well suited to demanding hazardous-location electrical installations.
