The Appleton TMCX Connector is engineered for terminating MC/MCHL cable with corrugated interlocked aluminum/steel armor, as well as continuously welded armor (TECK or CLX) cable. It forms a mechanical watertight connection while providing true 360° ground continuity for the cable armor, and is available in trade sizes 1/2 thru 4. Rated NEMA 4X and IP66, the TMCX is built for demanding onshore and offshore hazardous location applications.

Key Features

• Trade Size Range: 1/2 thru 4, with a cable jacket diameter range of 0.354 thru 4.220 and cable armor diameter range of 0.342 thru 4.020 for the widest cable acceptance range.
• Durable Construction: Connector bodies, sleeve, and gland nut are available in copperfree (4/10 of 1% max.) aluminum, nickel plated brass, or stainless steel.
• Other Materials: Grounding spring is stainless steel, bushing is halogen-free LSF-TPE, end stop washer is nylon, and the o-ring is Viton.
• Threads: NPT threads are standard; metric threads are available by adding the metric thread size to the end of the catalog number.
• Sealed & Disconnectable: Supplied complete with epoxy sealing compound and independent sealing and armor clamping in a disconnectable design.
• True 360° Grounding: Delivers reliable ground continuity for cable armor on horizontal or vertical runs.
• Pull-Out Prevention: Superior pull out prevention in a compact, slim profile design.
• Deluge Proof Seal: Additional integral deluge proof seal for protection in extreme offshore and onshore environments.
