No. The Arlington Snap2it NMLT connectors are built for non-metallic liquid tight conduit, Type B only. If you're running metallic liquid tight flex, this is the wrong fitting. Type B non-metallic liquid tight has an integral reinforcement layer, and the push-on jaws inside these connectors are sized to grab that specific conduit profile, so putting them on Type A non-metallic or on metallic flex won't give you the seal or the retention you need.
2) Can I use these Arlington non-metallic liquid tight connectors outdoors in full sun?
Yes. The NMLT Snap2it bodies are molded from UV-rated plastic, which is what separates them from a standard indoor nylon fitting that chalks and cracks after a couple of seasons of direct sun.
