Only Arrow 3000 Series exit devices. The RCD-36 is built as a direct replacement component for that series, so alignment, fitment and touchbar function are matched to 3000 Series hardware. It is not a universal rail, and it will not drop onto a device from another Arrow series or another manufacturer.
3) What does cylinder dogging on this rail assembly actually do for a high traffic door?
Cylinder dogging lets an authorized person use a key to hold the latch retracted, so the door pushes open freely without the latch engaging the strike. The dogging mechanism is built into the RCD-36 rail itself, so it is the rail you replace to get or keep that feature.
