The 3RAHS construction is the gasketed, hinged screw-cover type, and the cover seals to the body with a gasketed stainless steel screw, which is what makes it suitable for wet and outdoor locations. The stainless hardware is the detail that matters in a washdown or coastal install, since plated steel screws are the first thing to seize.
2) Does this 4412 wireway come with knockouts already punched?
No. The NK suffix on the 4412-3RAHS NK means no knockouts, so the trough ships blank and you drill or punch entries where your conduit runs actually land. If you want factory openings on a set spacing, order the knockout version of the same 4 x 4 body instead.
3) Is the cover on this 4x4 wireway hinged or a screw-on lift-off cover?
