A wobble actuator switch trips when something contacts the flexible stick from any direction, so it is used where the target does not approach along a fixed path. Typical jobs are conveyor belt misalignment and product jam detection. The E49M11VP1 carries a wobble actuator and detects motion from 1 mm up to 2 m/s, which covers slow creeping belt drift as well as fast travel.

It is rated 10A at 250 Vac and 1.5A at 24 Vdc, so it will carry a line voltage coil or a 24V DC control circuit. One caution: the contact block is 1 NO and 1 NC, and mixing AC line voltage on one contact with low level DC logic on the other in the same switch body is something most controls people avoid. If the DC side is a PLC input, keep the current well under the 1.5 A ceiling.

The E49M11VP1 is rated IP67 in a die cast aluminum enclosure, so it is sealed against dust ingress and temporary immersion. That covers hose down cleaning and heavy airborne dust on conveyor lines. IP67 is not rated for high pressure jets or continuous submersion.

Rated from 14 F to 176 F. That rules it out for unheated outdoor or freezer applications where the ambient drops below 14 F, and for hot zones near ovens or dryers above 176 F.

Wiring lands on screw terminals inside the switch, so it is field wired with conductors you pull to it rather than a factory cable you have to splice. Good for MRO replacement where the existing conduit run stays put.

Yes. The contact block is one normally open and one normally closed, so the NC contact can drop out a stop or safety relay circuit while the NO contact picks up an indicator or PLC alarm input at the same time. Continuous AC current on the contacts is 10 A.
