B-LINE SBVB36K – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the B-Line SBVB36K vertical ground bar cover a full 45U rack, or do I need more than one?
The SBVB36K copper bar is 36 inches long, so it won't run the full height of a typical tall rack on its own. The bar has a studded end so two or more bars can be bolted together to splice into a longer continuous run, which is how you extend it up a taller cabinet. Order the number of bars you need for the finished height.
2) Is the B-Line SBVB36K a UL Listed ground bar?
Yes, the SBVB36K vertical rack ground bar is UL Listed, which is what most data center and telecom grounding specs call for on the vertical bonding bar inside a cabinet.
3) Is the SBVB36K solid copper?
Solid copper bar. That matters on a bonding conductor because it keeps resistance low across the length of the run and mates properly with copper lugs and copper bonding jumpers.
4) What part number do I order for the 36 inch B-Line vertical ground bar?
Order Eaton B-Line model SBVB36K. That is the 36 inch copper vertical rack ground bar.
