B-Line Eaton series acoustical tee and t-bar fasteners, Acoustical tee, 1" Height, 1" Length, 1" Width, 0.025lbs, 0.63" with brass nut, 0.94" Twist fa

It's built for standard 0.56 inch T-bars, which is the flange thickness dimension B-Line publishes for this clip, and it uses a 0.94 inch twist fastener to grip the tee. If your grid is a standard suspended acoustical ceiling tee, this is the clip that goes on it. Grid that doesn't match the 0.56 inch T-bar profile needs a different fastener.

25 lbs per fastener. That covers most lay-in and surface electrical fixtures, small boxes, and light drops off a grid tee. For anything heavier, run independent support to structure rather than stacking clips.

Yes, the BA-2-16-BN acoustical tee fastener is UL/CUL listed, which is what most inspectors want to see when a fixture is hung off the T-bar instead of structure. It's an electrical-department fastener intended to support electrical fixtures from standard T-bars.

The clip is a 0.63 inch size with a brass nut included, so the threaded connection point for your fixture hanger or rod is part of the part. You supply whatever threads into it on the fixture side.

A twist fastener like the BA-2-16-BN clamps directly onto the ceiling grid tee and gives you a threaded point to hang from, rated 25 lbs. It's for light electrical fixtures and small drops where you want a fast, code-listed attachment to the grid. Anything above that rating, or anything the code requires to be independently supported, belongs on wire or rod run to the structure above.

BA-2-16-BN is the Eaton B-Line acoustical tee fastener with the brass nut, 0.94 inch twist style, 25 lb rated and UL/CUL listed. That single model number covers the whole line here, so it's a clean part to spec repeatedly across grid ceilings that use standard 0.56 inch T-bars.

It's a 1 inch cube footprint, 1 inch height by 1 inch length by 1 inch width, and weighs .025 lb. Tight plenums aren't a problem with it, and the weight is negligible when you're figuring grid loading.
