The R1126 HEE is a NEMA 3R enclosure, so it is rated for outdoor use against falling rain, sleet and snow. It is galvanized steel with ANSI 61 gray paint. NEMA 3R is not a washdown or hosedown rating, so for pressurized water or dust-heavy sites you want a 4 or 4X enclosure instead.

Line lugs take #4 through 600 MCM, which covers most feeder sizes up to an 800 A bus. On the load side the connections are mounting-hole type, 5/16 inch, so you supply and bolt on the load lugs to suit your cable. The cabinet is a 3-phase, 4-wire arrangement.

The R1126 HEE is rated 10 kAIC, so the available fault current at the point of installation must be 10 kA or less. On larger services close to the transformer, available fault current often exceeds that, and in those cases this cabinet is not the right choice. Check your utility or engineered short-circuit study before committing.
