It takes 5/8-11 threaded rod. The bolt hole is aligned by design so the rod drops straight through for an overhead install without fighting the yoke.

You get the steel clevis assembly, top and bottom straps with the cross bolt and nut. The 5/8-11 threaded rod, the rod coupling or nut, and the structural attachment (beam clamp, insert, or concrete anchor) are separate line items and need to be ordered with it.

DURA GREEN is a coated finish over a steel body, meant to add corrosion protection compared with plain steel. For a genuinely wet or chemically aggressive environment, spec an electro-galvanized or stainless clevis in the same size rather than relying on the painted finish alone.

It is cUL Listed, which is the Canadian UL certification mark. That matters on institutional and commercial jobs where the inspector wants listed support hardware on the run.

Plan for a footprint of 8.851 x 7.375 x 1.25 inches on the B3100-5GRN. Allow for the strap legs and the cross bolt when the line runs tight to a deck or beside another trapeze, since the hanger body sits outboard of the 5 inch pipe on both sides.

A clevis like the B3100-5GRN carries one pipe on a single rod drop and lets you adjust height at the rod, which is the quicker choice when you are hanging one line. Go to a trapeze when several lines share the same route, when you need the pipe to slide laterally for thermal movement, or when you cannot get a rod drop directly over the pipe centerline.
