It's drilled for 5/8-11 threaded rod. Order the rod, nuts and your overhead attachment separately; the hanger itself is just the clevis, strap and bolt.

It carries a cUL Listing. That's the rating engineers and inspectors look for on overhead pipe and conduit support, so it will satisfy a spec calling for a listed clevis hanger.

DURA GREEN is Eaton B-Line's coated steel finish, applied over a steel body. It gives more corrosion protection than plain or electro-galvanized steel for interior mechanical rooms, parking structures and similar damp locations. For direct outdoor exposure or chemically aggressive service, a hot dip galvanized or stainless clevis is the better call.

The slide rite design uses an aligned bolt hole so the bolt and nut line up for overhead installation, letting you set the hanger and run the bolt through without fighting the strap up on a ladder. Functionally it supports pipe the same way a standard clevis does, it just installs faster overhead.

Plan for a footprint of 7.724 inches in length, 6.063 inches in width and 1.25 inches in height on the component itself, plus the rod drop above it. Tight ceiling cavities and close pipe spacing are where this catches people out, so check the width against your rack spacing before you lay out the rod holes.
